Allison & Andrew
Allison and Andrew wanted a set of signs for their wedding, including one with a custom illustration of the Stillwater bridge, located near their wedding venue. The project was a short turnaround, but it was a fun one to work on.
Illustrated elements
The sign was mostly comprised of illustrated elements, from the names and date to the bridge illustration. The bridge illustrations were created in Procreate and cleaned up in Photoshop. The names were hand-illustrated and then vectorized.
Bridge details
This project was an opportunity to experiment with Procreate’s watercolor brush tools, and I learned a lot throughout the process. We wanted it to feel a little “imperfect” with overlapping textures and coloring outside of the lines, but it was important to still have dimension. The wedding colors were navy and green, which fit the palette of the illustration well.
