Molly & Saben
Saben and Molly got married in a distillery in Seattle, and when they contacted me for signage they had already sent save-the-dates. To match their existing motif, I incorporated some hand-drawn floral patterns and a curvy, new-age sans serif. We landed on a monoweight lettering style to complement their existing choices, and I applied this to signage for their welcome sign, seating chart, reserved seating, and guestbook.
Entry signage
Incorporating some of the floral motifs and existing typeface they had chosen, I created a monoline lettering script for signage that would give the impression of a modern chalkboard.
Custom illustrations
Molly and Saben’s dogs are well-known for their quirky personalities, and they had planned to have custom cocktails inspired by and named after the dogs. As a surprise touch, I illustrated a couple of portraits to accompany the bar menu.
Small touches
We incorporated the same motif into small signage, including for seat labels.
